Asking for an exchange or refund

  1. 1I have properly received my order but I would like to exchange or return an item. What do I have to do?

    On laredoute.com you can only return your order and receive a refund after the reception of your return package.

    For returning an item fill in the RA (Return Authorisation) attached to your invoice and call the delivery/courier company. You can either use our delivery/courier company UPS (http://www.ups.com/) or the postal services of your country as well as any other delivery/courier company. The postage will be borne by you and will depend on the forwarder and the company taking care of your return package.

    You can find the details on your refund under “Returning your purchases” in your customer account.

    However, if you reject your package or  you return it because it was damaged, the package will be returned to La Redoute by UPS. In this case, you will be refunded and obviously the shipping costs are free of charge for you.

    If you live outside the European Union and you wish to return an order, you will need to fill out an export declaration, where you have to provide the following information:
    - country of origin of the goods (country of manufacture you can find on the label “made in”)
    - the original amount
    - the INCOTERM (International Commercial Terms) : please choose DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid), so that you do not have to pay for the export duties but only for the shipping costs.

  3. 3I haven’t received my refund yet.

    You can find the details concerning your refund under “Returning your purchases” in your account.

    If however, the refund was not made within 30 days after the reception of your return package, please contact us by e-mail (info@redoute.com) or telephone 0033 3 66 33 17 80* or 00171 62 26 07 33 for USA*.

  4. 4When and how will I receive my refund ?

    The refund will be made in the same way as the initial payment. Thus, if you have made the payment by a credit card, your bank account will be credited and if you have made the payment via PayPal, your PayPal account will be credited. 

    If however, the refund was not made within 30 days after the reception of your return package in one of our warehouses, please contact us by e-mail (info@redoute.com) or telephone 0033 3 66 33 17 80* or 00171 62 26 07 33 for USA*.

  5. 5In which currency will I receive my refund?

    You will be refunded in the same currency in which you had paid for your order; if it was dollars, then the refund will be in dollars; if it was in euro, then the refund will be in euro.
