Checked Wool Mix Coat beige checks LA REDOUTE COLLECTIONS

Very thick material, Feels very synthetic and not wooly at all. It does not look smart. It looks cheap. I have returned it!

So happy with this purchase. I’ve been looking for a good quality checked coat for years, but so many are made from thin material so don’t keep you warm - this is heavy with a thick wool content to keep you warm. Plus, I love that the checked pattern actually lines up properly at the seams! I think a coat looks cheaper/not well made when it doesn’t have that because it’s like no attention has been paid to the detail. I sized down from my usual size as I find La Redoute comes up big and it fits me perfectly. So happy my purchase as got a quality warm wool coat with around 66% discount! Can’t wait for winter! ❄️

Ordered the checked Wool Mix Coat about two weeks ago on a Monday and it arrived on Wednesday incredibly fast service. Ordered via the phone and spoke to Lisa - a credit to Customer Services and she was professional friendly and efficient. Wasn't sure whether the coat would suit me initially but delighted to say it does and is a perfect length and love the fit. Ordered a size 12. The sleeves are a little long but easily remedied. The colours in the coat are lovely and the coat is very well made as I have found with all my La Redouts coats. It will be very warm as it has a high wool content. Bought at sale price so amazing value.

I am very pleased about the quality of the coat. thick and well tailored. unfortunately the design is quiet big as compared to normal sizes. I chose the smallest size which is 32 De, but still big for me. I am normally 34 in other clothes. It is very good for woman who have bigger boobs because there are still enough space for the chest area.
