      Please do not purchase this item!

      The table arrived mid December and from then till mid February when we returned it the strong smell of chemicals did not leave.

      Wiping it down with white vinegar and bicarbonate of soda night after night didn't help and neither did leaving it by a constantly open window.

      The chemical smell is sweet and matches all the criteria of formaldehyde which I didn't want anywhere near my pregnant wife.

      La Redoute sent out another table to replace the original but that too had the same smell of formaldehyde.

      I couldn't have foreseen the amount of stress this flat pack furniture could have caused and we're now rushing to find something made of natural materials.

      While their customer service was friendly and helpful with the refund, I wouldn't recommend this table due to the health risks.

      This isn't a one off complaint please see all the French reviews it's nothing but people saying the same thing.

      A nightmare to put together

      It took 3-4 hours to put together the amount of steps and little things to do should not be overlooked - you definitely need 2 people for this.

      The draws are really spacious.

      It a a big piece of furniture once you put the changer at the top ( it does come out at the back quite q bit)

      I have not decided yet if I love it as it yet - Quality is okay if it is discounted and it’s a beautifully designed

      Love it

      I was a little nervous about buying this given all the reviews of the chemical smell. But pleased to say ours is smell free. A slight hint on first building, but the same as any self build furniture. Love the unit, and the drawers are a great size. Such a good unit for a small room. So easy to build. I will highlight that the depth isn’t usual size for a regular changing mat though (too short by about 5-10cm), so have to buy from LR too.

      Beautiful but poor quality

      The design of the furniture is really nice, the colour is lovely!

      However, a few things really disappointed me: it took us 2 hours to assemble it - definitely not easy!, then the painting is missing at some places (it is small but visible) and finally there is a very strong smell of chemical which has not disappeared even after 2 weeks. I think this is the most worrying part for a baby's bedroom.

      So again, beautiful item but overpriced for the quality.
