    “To design the Kinoko lamp, I was inspired by the round shapes and colours of the '70s and wanted to give them a modern take. With its double nested mushroom-shaped sphere, which combines both transparency and opacity, it creates a soft and friendly atmosphere."

      My Dream Lamp combined with amazing service

      I've been eye-ing up this lamp for so long, it was the PERFECT lamp for my living room. I was nervous after some bad experiences with some big and small companies this past year I've used to furnish my new home to try another company, BUT, sometimes risk does pay off! La Redoute customer service was amazing, I had some questions about EU/UK plugs and I was given the correct info then further contacted to get more information specific to my lamp. Then it came several days early! The quality is amazing, it's exactly as pictured and very sturdy ( essential in a household with cats and dogs). It's honestly amazing, and now I have several more items in my basket and will be making another order soon as there's so many great peices I just haven't had chance to browse as long as I want!

      These lamps are absolutely stunning. They’re so stylish, give of a lovely light and add a bit of character to the room. They feel sturdy and good quality. I’m tempted to even buy some more

      Simply beautiful

      This was exactly what I had been looking for, the beautiful glass gives out a soft dreamy light, perfect for the bedroom. Also looks really good when not lit. I am so happy with this product

      Beautiful from afar, average finish cheap up close

      While they look fantastic from afar, up close they look cheap and the finish is very lacking.

      All glass edges are very rough and haven't been smoothed down. I have 2 of these and one has numerous small bubbles while the other has large bubbles in the glass. As well the center hole is not cut in the center of the amber outer glass so it is very wonky. you can see the differences between the two photos attached. overall disappointing.

      Lastly the packaging is horrendous. comes in super cheap foam that breaks apart when you touch it and get everywhere

      Poor finishing/QA

      The glass finishing is quite poor with random bubbles/marks on the glass. Plus the e14 fitting doesn't give much headroom so you can only fit very short e14 bulbs in it. And it comes with an EU plug and the provided adapter is very poor quality.

      It does look nice though. You just notice a lot of inperfections if you look too closely.

      One of the prettiest lamp I ever bought

      Looks very lovely when illuminated and very stylish, easy to assemble, UK plug. Wish it came with a light bulb though.

      Lovely cool retro style lamp

      Great lamp.

      Colour of glass shade a little paler than pictured, but looks lovely both illuminated and not. I chose a 1.8W LED 2700k bulb for a peachy glow. Easy to assemble. Not much room for a bulb - so I fitted a mini globe bulb which fits perfectly.

      Contrary to other reviewers - mine came with a UK adapter plug and the base is straight.

      The inside edges of the glass shades aren’t as well finished as I’d hoped but these are hidden under the washers that separate the metal base sections.
