Find the right sofa for your needs

The sofa is the centerpiece of your living room. The one that makes it cosy and sets the tone for your interior design. Color, material, size, shape, accessories - the question of how to choose a sofa is not one to be taken lightly. So when it comes time to buy, ask yourself a few questions to guide your decision:
  • - How big is my living room?
  • - How many places do I need: do I regularly have friends over, or do I have a large family?
  • - Do I need an extra bed?
  • - What level of comfort do I need?
  • - Do I want a strong decorative piece?
This will help you choose the right sofa: a leather recliner with a comfortable seat, or a straight, velvet sofa in Scandinavian style?

The different types of sofa

  • The convertible sofa
This two-in-one piece of furniture combines practicality and design. It is highly appreciated in small spaces such as studios or apartments. Have you considered a convertible sofa for extra sleeping space, or as a main sleeping area? Check the thickness and density of the mattress foam according to your use. For occasional use, a thickness of 6 cm is more than sufficient. For regular use, opt for a thickness of 10 to 11 cm, and for comfort equivalent to that of a fixed mattress, go up to 14 to 18 cm. If you're going to be using it a lot, opt for a model that's quick and easy to unfold.
In the sofa-bed family, we also find the clic-clac. Space-saving and often upholstered in fabric, they add a touch of pizzazz and allow you to be as fanciful as you like for a warm, colorful interior. Bench seats come in a range of very modern models! In leather, the convertible sofa will bring a very chic touch to your interior.
  • The modular sofa
Able to adapt to every need, the modular sofa is the ideal solution for optimizing space in your home. With or without armrests, footstool or chaise longue, create the sofa you want! Depending on the number of seats required, opt for a straight or corner modular bench, which you can assemble to form a right- or left-hand corner sofa. Often in fabric and with large cushions, it's sure to be comfortable.
  • The corner sofa
This large sofa not only provides ample seating for your many guests, but also a more spacious sleeping area.

    And to accessorize the sofa?

To complete your decor and add a cosy touch, you'll be sure to coordinate a plaid or rug with your sofa. Find the best possible combination with your armchairs, chairs, cushions and coffee table to create a pleasant atmosphere that suits you.
