Return / Refund

If you wish to return an article purchased on the website laredoute.com, you have 30 days, from the date the order was received, to proceed with the return process.

Please note that the article should be in its original condition to be returned. Returns are free of charge for Austria. For Ireland, returns are at a negociated prepaid price of 5€with DHL. This amount will be deducted from the refund of your(s) item(s). If you need to return several items from one order, be careful to send them in the same package to enjoy the free return. For any other country, the return is at your own expense.

Find below the process to return your order and refund informations.

For returns of small articles (fashion, home textile and small decoration articles) and furniture up to 25 kilograms

  • To return all or part of your order on laredoute.com, you should use the returns portal and proceed to the following steps to print the return label and return note.

1. Find an order - Enter your order number (under the format "GEXXXXXXXXX") and the email used to pass the order.

2. Select items to return - Select the item you wish to return and select the reason of this return.

3. Select return method - Select the Standard Return allowing you to send back your items with the carrier of your choice. For Germany and Austria, please select the DHL Express Prepaid Return by La Redoute.

4. Create return label - Once your Return Note and Return Label created, you will receive them by email. Print the Return Note and the Return Label. In the package, place the items you selected to return, along with the "Return Note" and seal it. Once sealed, you can affix securely the Return Label to the outside of the package. Last step is to send it to the address that appears on the Return Label. Please keep a proof of deposit when you make a return. This can be used as proof for the refund.

5. Warning - Items that are damaged, soiled or which have been worn cannot be returned. In the case of non-compliant returns, La Redoute will not accept the returned items.

6. Proof of return - In the case of a return, please make sure to keep a proof and the tracking number. These elements will be useful should there be a complaint.

For the return of bulky items over 25 kilograms (furniture, very large products, etc.)

    Following your request, the transporter will come and collect the parcel from your home, by appointment. Damaged items cannot be returned. Furniture which is delivered ready-assembled must be repacked in its original packaging. Furniture which is delivered in kit form and then unpacked and assembled, cannot be returned.

Refund

For returned items, it can take up to 30 days for the funds to credit back to your original payment method. The refund will be made in the same way as the initial payment, and will be made by our partner Global-e.

  • If you have paid taxes (pre-paid through the Global-e service or paid upon receipt of the order) you must request reimbursement directly from the customs authority in your country.

  • Any delivery costs paid in connection with the Order are non-reimbursable.
