    The light wood and tapered legs, typical of the 1950's give the Jimi bed a vintage feel. The overhanging shelf can be positioned at the top of the bed as a bedside table or at the bottom to hold throws, pillows and blankets.

      disappointing

      I bought this v stylish bed base late November for xmas visitors, it arrived OK, it had a faulty fixed screw insert so it could not be built, customer service ordered a new part which never arrived and I spent 3 x 45 minute wait on the phone to speak with customer service, the item may have had to come from France, and no fault to La Redoute, this is most likely a problem since Brexit. Finally I tried to return the whole bed and had to pack it all up which took about an hour and explain the problem so I took photo's and wait for pickup, so all this took a month and then I waited for the refund so about 5-6 weeks. It was long winded and stressful I will not use La Redoute again.

      I am waiting for a faulty part plus the instructio

      The bed looks solid and it’s a great design but it’s still waiting on a bedroom floor unpacked with no instructions included plus the left arm has a crooked bolt hole so the bolt does not sit straight and nothing can be assembled until a new part is delivered in 10-14 days. And I would like an online copy of the instructions but I can’t get any help despite 5 emails snd one phone call which took about an hour to reach customer service. Despite this I thought customer service if u csn reach them are helpful but still I am wondering if I should have packed up and returned the whole bed. If La redoute actually help me I will write a positive review.

      Weak joints, bed broke within a month

      I emailed LaRedoute, to help me fix the problem but am still waiting a response. The bed itself is lovely just either faulty or not well made

      So solid & great quality

      Love the bed, so compact, looks like a great statement in the room. Solid & expensive feel to it. And the wood is a lovely colour
