Malu Solid Pine Chest of 3 Drawers wood LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

I bought this during black friday when it was on offer, and thank goodess. If I'd paid full price I wouldn't be happy with it. That said it's a nice looking chest of drawers but the running of the drawers is wobbly - not smooth at all.

Lovely set of drawers for great price. Sturdy enough and fine to build. Very happy with them.

This product purports to be solid pine. It is not completely solid pine.

For those looking for an old fashioned, good quality, 100% wooden chest of drawers with no flimsy bottomed drawers or flimsy material backing, with no metal runners with cheap metal ikea style attachments which inevitably loosen over time, then this is not the chest of drawers for you.

The photos make it look like it is fully wood, especially the picture with an open drawer. They have deliberatley not included the metal runner in this picture.

Were you to build this unit and take the same picture, you would see the runner.

Thats flase advertising right there.

Now, yes, eagle eyed consumers will notice that there is a link which takes you to "instructions/assembly" and there you will see all the parts included in this solid pine unit including all the parts that are not solid pine!

Very dissappointed with this flimsy badly described unit.

Spend a bit more and find a 100% wooden chest of drawers as they last forever.

I cannot fault customer service though. Every time I've contacted them, they have been absolutely brilliant, and not out-sourced.

Bought this for my 12 yr old grandaughters bedroorm refurbishment and it it is just fab very retro design and she absolutely loves. Well made, great design and fitted into her room really well.

I’d been looking for a real wooden set of drawers and they are so expensive but found these on sale and love them !

The picture looks oak but they are pine so a darker colour but I don’t mind that at all as much warmer.

Good size and easy to put together with clear instructions.

I'm trying to put together this flat pack and the instructions aren't clear, the pieces are not labelled and it's basically awful. Avoid. I've made the drawers but they now don't fit in the cabinet (they don't close all the way). Definitely avoid.

This looks absolutely stunning when assembled. I would have given five stars but there was very slight damage to one drawer face and hand on heart it’s not the easiest flat pack to assemble however it is achievable, I found all the holes were in the correct place, there are very small guide holes in places which you just have to look for. Once constructed it has a lovely retro vibe and seems well made for the money. The design does mean it needs anchoring to the wall. Very happy with my new drawers.
