    This piece of furniture has an oiled finish which brings out the grain of the wood . Therefore, it is possible to feel the texture of the wood grain. In order to preserve its look and natural properties, this furniture should be regularly maintained.

    Care Advice
     •  Oil your furniture at least once a year with paraffin or petroleum jelly oil, in order to seal the pores of the wood and make it less sensitive to variations in humidity..
     •  In the case of use in high heat or high humidity, renew the application of oil more frequently.
     •  After each application, allow the wood time to absorb the oil before each use.
     •  Dust regularly with a dry cloth.
     •  Clean with a damp cloth.
     •  In case of stains, sand with fine sandpaper then apply oil.

      Good quality table

      Really beautiful quality! When fully extended, you can fit 8 easily and 10 at a push. It's a very heavy table so need two to assemble.

      Great table (but what about storage?)

      Just set up the table, it looks great and is made of solid wood so feels very sturdy. One big drawback - it’s not obvious where the extending leaves are supposed to be stored, I can’t see anywhere under the table so we’ve had to wrap them and store them in the loft!!! Would have been good to know this before ordering, maybe that should be in the item description?
