      Lovely piece of furniture, but...

      Overall i'm really happy, the bookcase is sturdy and looks really good - beautiful antique design, warm colour - and was not too difficult to assemble, but i have some "buts"...There were many flaws here and there, luckily not really noticeable once putted together, a few pieces were not perfectly in shape, and the back panels were of a really cheap quality. So I'll say grab a bargain if you can (50% off was such a great deal) but i won't recommend it full price.

      Lovely bookcase BUT

      My husband has now built this and it is lovely, providing good shelf depth for books and objects. The reason I dropped one star is because the shelves are fixed. It might have cost a little more, but allowing the customer to be able to set the shelves at different heights would have made a lovely piece of furniture even nicer.

      Beautiful and great quality

      I bought this to use as a linen cupboard. It's beautifully made and great quality. Was easy to assemble with clear instructions. The glass doors looks really stylish and I'd definitely recommend.

      Poor quality crap wood, doors get stuck.

      If I coukd give this item no stars I would. Absolutely poor quality for the price you pay. Cheap wood.. and the sliding doors do not slide smoothly.. get stuck. Requesting a refund.

      Great buy

      Very solid, straightforward construction. We cut some of the architrave wood off to enable us to butt two cupboards together for a seamless piece. Glass a little wobbly but plastic strips help to keep in place. Deep shelves so you can do double rows of books if wanted. Arrives well packed, but is heavy.

      Very Solid ,practical bookcase great looking piece

      Very practical bookcase it holds many books & the glass doors protect the books from collecting dust ! A statement piece of furniture ! NB* ( Many screws to hold it together !!) The sliding Doors are great as they take up no room space !Solid, Attractive piece !!Great Sale price !

      Simple, easy elegance

      This bookcase is fabulous. It provides loads of space for books and ornaments and keeps them all beautifully dust free behind glass, without encroaching in the room because of its sliding doors. It looks like a premium investment at a very affordable price and was surprisingly easy to assemble. It’s a winner all ways and I’m really happy we chose it.

      Worth every penny

      We bought this beautiful bookcase when the sales were on, so it was a double win. The finish feels slightly darker than on the picture but it is very sturdy and solid piece of furniture. Certainly looks expensive.

      I get very nice comments from visitors.

      The assembly was easy and delivery was also smooth and quick.
