      Fantastic cabinets

      I bought these a few weeks ago and stumbled across them by chance. I am so pleased that I did. They are a fantastic find. Different from the usual bedside cabinets. Great quality and so simple to to put together!

      Lovely, quirky & stylish!

      We didn’t want the standard looking plain bedside cabinet with drawers.

      So pleased we purchased these- as other reviews have said the door, although reversible- the pattern would be opposite- but not really a deal breaker! Easy to put together and feel solid. The cupboard space was more roomy than I was expecting.

      These are the second furniture purchase we’ve made from La Redoute and have been very impressed with the quality and service.

      Lovely bedside cabinets

      We love our new bedside cabinets. They bring a smile to my face when I catch sight of them. I also put them together myself, so east to understand the instructions, everything labelled and simple instructions meant I took no wrong turns!

      Disappointing reversible door..beware

      Luxore Bedside Tables x2 purchased for each side of bed. According to the advert the door is reversible which I thought would mean we can create a mirror image which I’m sure everyone would agree is the desired look if using two in one room! Unfortunately the doors come with the metal striker for the magnetic latch (which is pathetically weak I might add) already attached to one side with two screws. Crazy! This means that to have a true mirror image you would have to drill holes on the other side and move the striker plate but this would leave holes in the visible front!

      The only other way is to have the pattern the other way up on one unit which again would look ridiculous. Not very well thought out at all and very disappointing. Certainly good if you are only needing one unit, but need to consider this if buying two.

      We decided to make both open the same way which is the least aesthetically displeasing compromise. :-(

      There was also transit damage to one back board but decided not to raise this as the delivery time was sooo long we couldn’t wait for replacement again . It isn’t seen anyway but still defective upon arrival. Not a great purchase for the price, typical flat pack MDF construction. Overpriced but look nice.
