    Timeless Victoriana

    Had a blouse like this in the 70s, another in the 80s, and now want another. Love this. The high neckline is very flattering the sleeves just right - I am fairly short armed. Am 18/20 and need the 20 which is nicely loose, but not voluminous which can happen with frilled styles. Would be 5 stars but for the buttons. Pretty Mother-of-pearl is very authentic vintage style but the top two have a brownish hue whereas the rest are silver in hue. I am going to transfer the sleeve buttons to the top front and move the brownish ones to the sleeve though going to see if a haberdasher can sell me six matching for both sleeves. The spare button also brown hue. Get this right and your blouse will be 5 star, unless you add a 6 star category.

    This is a nice shirt, the sleeves are a little short and the collar and ruffles felt a little stiff, not at all fitted, not the most comfortable to wear.
