      Just the job

      Despite our doubts about whether the table would fit the corner, it did so perfectly. The online dimensions were accurate. Assembly took a while and required quite a lot of thought. One set of screws needed to be screwed into the wood without preformed holes so that was quite strenuous and required a bradawl to make the holes. so that's why I gave 4 stars rather than 5.

      The main thing is that the table looks fine.

      A good looking piece. A nightmare to put together

      This is a very attractive piece of furniture. However, trying to attach the metal frame to the front was horrendous. The shelves are solid oak but there were no predrillled holes and the supplied screws were minute and extremely tricky to get in. One broke as it was being screwed in. Two of the supplied feet wouldn’t screw in because although there were predrilled holes for them, two of the holes were not deep enough so we’ve had to discard the feet .

      I did email La Redoute about this to give them a chance to respond before I wrote this review but after three days they haven’t even acknowledged my contact. Very disappointing.

      Hello,

      Thank you for your comment. We're really sorry that this product didn't meet your expectations.

      The finger-jointed solid wood section is not pre-drilled so that you can choose which side is visible. However, self-drilling screws are supplied to make it easier to screw the seat onto the structure.

      We apologise for any inconvenience caused during assembly. In general, we do not recommend using a screwdriver for assembly, as excessive torque can cause the wood to splinter.

      We hope that you will nevertheless be able to enjoy your product to the full.

      Fab TV unit had it for a good price as reduced plus money off the reduced price. Was kept up to date with regular messages about the delivery

      Stylish, and good quality.

      This corner TV lived up to my expectations. Lovely light oak wood, compact and stylish. Well designed with space for to wires etc . Love it!
