Nadil Child's Wardrobe - LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

We bought this wardrobe for my daughter and have been pleased with the way it looks and the quality of its materials. The green color is very pretty and nicely offset by the natural wood embellishments. I cannot give the piece 5 stars for two reasons: first, we could not get the doors to install levelly, in spite of hours of re-drilling of holes and tinkering with the hinge mechanism the right door consistently hangs lower than the left by about 5 mm. Second, the furniture smells of whatever paint or varnish was used on it. It is clearly not a low-VOC product and we've had to keep it in a separate room with the windows open to off gas before we felt comfortable putting it in our child's room. Lastly, it comes packaged in styrofoam, which feels incredibly wasteful and environmentally unfriendly.
