The long coat

We love it, because it's a warm coat that wraps around our legs to protect us from the cold. It's a classic, chic masterpiece of our wardrobe: the long coat is chosen in sober, plain colors: black, brown, gray, beige, burgundy, wine or marsala red. But it's not always easy to adopt, depending on our morphology, which is why it's important to choose THE long coat that will best flatter our silhouette.

• - If you're a petite woman, your long coat should be worn 3/4 length, knee-length, cinched or belted like a kimono or bathrobe to emphasize your silhouette.

• The poncho or cape: We love it for the way it enhances every silhouette, depending on the length and fullness chosen. The cape is everywhere! Preppy or bohemian, it's loose-fitting and hides you from neck to waist, with an opening for your hands. It's as elegant with a skirt and pumps as it is with a slim-fit jacket and ankle boots.

• The trench coat: This fluid, long or mid-length coat is made of waterproof or non-waterproof fabric. It's the mid-season coat par excellence!
