      Lovely patterns, colours, but bad quality fabric

      I bought the duvet cover 3 months ago. I bought several percale cotton duvet covers over the years. But that duvet percale cotton fabric is awful. It feels rough, not soft and crispy like the percale cotton fabric duvet I bought from là Redoute in the past, or even in the recent years. I washed it with the matching pillowcases over 6 times already, and it doesn’t feel softer. When sleeping in them , they feel slightly itchy against my skin/face. So I had to take them off and put another duvet cover. I really can’t sleep in them. What a waste of money. The la Redoute cotton quality is going down the hill. Even the fitted sheet from the organic range feels rough. It’s a shame because I really like their envelope, funnel style opening that I tuck under the mattress and that keeps my feet warm, and that keeps the duvet cover in place. I’ve been a client for at least 16 years, but unfortunately I’ll have to buy my linen from another shop.
